Hi – can I answer any questions for you?

User

I have installed the linux client (running Linux Mint) and see the app icon, but it will not start

Isn’t the timer running?

or does it not gather the computer activity data?

You are working on Linux mint?

User

Yes Linux Mint.
No – I do not see the timer or ability to identify which project it assigns to. The application does not appear running in the UI that I can tell.

could you please download the package from the link below:
http://www.timecamp.com/downloadsoft/timecamp_ubuntu_libpackage.zip

This package contains .deb package as well as install script, which I’d like you to run using terminal – it includes installation for all packages required for TimeCamp to run. Can you please confirm that desktop app runs properly after such installation?

User

Yes, that resolved. Thank you.

Hi

everything depends on that in what way you track time

User

do you mean in which application?

How do you track time?

User

I track it with the desktop app

User

on Windows 10

so you can track in auto or manual mode https://www.timecamp.com/kb/manualautomatic-mode/

User

I use the manual mode

you can change

settings -> addons -> desktop app settings -> Stop tracking when computer is unused for:
[5:31 PM]
you can set it to 9999 min

User

ok, i will try it

User

thank you

Have a nice day!
